About Me

I have been teaching for 14 years in North Carolina.  The first 7 1/2 years were at West Rowan High School and the last 6 1/2 have been at AL Brown High School.  I have been married for 17 years and have 3 children (Ryne, Reagan, and Brooklyn).  I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a BA in Mathematics and am currently a National Board Certified Teacher.  I believe that all students can be successful with involvement from their teachers, parents, and effort on their part.  I love being a part of the ORANGE TEAM in the freshman academy!

Foundations of Algebra

Supplies for class:

Please have some type of notebook (binder 1" with pockets is probably the best).  This will be used for taking notes (so you will need loose leaf paper) and also to keep your graded papers organized.

Something to write with everyday (pencils preferably, but pens will work).  I do sell mechanical pencils for $.25 each.

Remember. . .you are responsible for providing your own calculator for class.  Please be sure to bring it with you on a daily basis!!  TI-83, TI-83 Plus or TI-84 are the recommended calculators for your high school math classes.
